Swedish Massage

Swedish massage is the most common form of massage therapy. The tissues are massaged using long gliding and kneading strokes to increase return blood and lymph flow, increases relaxation and decreases discomfort.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage involves the use of strokes that penetrate deeply into muscle layers to alleviate discomfort. The therapist will use fingertips, knuckles, forearms and elbows to increase depth, working slowing to allow the muscle to welcome the deeper strokes.

Orthopedic Massage

Orthopedic Massage focuses on soft tissue pain or injury involving muscle, joints, and ligaments. The therapist will use orthopedic assessments to determine condition and bring about balance between opposing muscle groups that are causing discomfort and limited range of motion, returning the body to a more optimal functioning.

Medical massage therapy is similar to orthopedic, but usually is prescribed by a medical doctor. Improvement to health and well-being without the negative side effects of pain medication.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage

Manual Lymphatic Drainage involves applying light repetitive strokes without lotion to increase the movement of the lymphatic system to restore the body’s’ immune system by removing access fluid that causes edema and discomfort. Particularly important in post-surgery recovery.

Sports Massage

Sports Massage uses a variety of approaches to help professional athletes and weekend warriors to reduce injury and increase performance. Sports massage is most commonly used in pre-event and post-event scenarios.

Hot Stone Massage

Hot Stone Massage is similar to Swedish Massage with the addition of heated basalt stones placed or glided along the tissues to affect a deeper relaxation. The effects last much longer than without applied heat.

Bamboo Stick Massage

Bamboo Stick Massage is similar to Deep Tissue Massage with the addition of heated bamboo sticks. The bamboo stick act as an extension of the therapist hands in order to penetrate deeply into muscle layers and alleviate discomfort.

Thai Massage

Thai Massage uses the meridians and acupoints from traditional Chinese medicine and stretches to increase or decrease the energetic flow to bring about greater body awareness, and improved range of motion. It is performed with the client in loose clothing on a cushioned floor mat.

Thai Foot Reflexology

Thai foot massage techniques detoxify and purify the body, helping relieve stress and tension, decrease fatigue, foster good health and mental serenity, and restore balance.

Cupping Therapy

Cupping Therapy utilizes suction and negative pressure to decrease myofascial restrictions, loosen muscles, encourage blood flow and relax the nervous system.


Aromatherapy is the addition of essential oils to affect the mind-body connection. Citruses are uplifting, peppermint and eucalyptus improve nasal congestion, lavendar and chamomile increase relaxation.
