Stephen Ocampo was born in Houston, Texas and has lived in South Florida now for the past 9 years. Growing up he played sports year-round such as swim team, track, cross-country, tennis, baseball, soccer, gymnastics and cheer-leading so he knew from a young age that he wanted to pursue a career in the health and fitness industry.
Stephen became a Certified Personal Trainer 8 years ago through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and has since graduated with a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2015 and is currently in his final year of his Doctorate program for Physical Therapy. While pursuing these degrees, he has been able to intern and work with health and fitness professionals from all aspects including Strength and Conditioning for the Boston Red Sox and various FGCU sports. He has also worked with College and NFL football players through Miami’s own Chris Chambers at Chamber Fitness with Combine training, and has worked for the Brooks Hospital Neuro-Recovery in Jacksonville helping individuals with various neurological disorders such as spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, stroke, ALS and Parkinson’s Disease rehabilitate and get back to exercise and participate in Adaptive Sports through Paralympics.
Coming from such a diverse background in the fitness industry, he is able to tailor workouts to his client’s needs such as weight loss, injury prevention, rehabilitation, muscle toning, sports performance and muscle gain so that his client’s get the best results tailored towards their custom and individualized needs.
